How should I synchronize my environment object between clients?
In my game, I have players pushing pieces around on a giant gameboard. The board tracks the pieces positions and performs calculations for valid moves.
It's important for the pieces to be in the same place for every client. I'm wondering what the best way for me to set that up is. Should I give the board a NetworkTransform and make all the pieces NetworkTransformChildren? Or should I separate the two and have one board on the server that moves the pieces on every client? Or is there something entirely different I should do?
Any insight is appreciated!
