Issue In Custom Renderer

I was watching A Video By unity in which they showed how we can render our fps object on top of every thing without using an 2nd overlay camera. I tried that too , but when i go near the objects my gun start clipping through the objects even i am rendering it after all the opaque's. i have tried it render before opaque's but it get same result . but when i render it after everything. and everything mean everything even the post processing finally clipping issue get sorted but then post processing is not applied on gun , which i defiantly don't want to happen, so can any one help me, I have tried using 2nd camera and that works but it also cost performance and this is for mobile game and performance is everything. So please any one wanna volunteered and help me solving the issue.. Thanks
