how to get back old input system?
I have just started using unity and am really struggling to use the new input system, I was wondering whether there is a way to use the old input system. I am working on version 2019.4 and have gone into edit - project settings - player and turned it to old input system. But when I create a c# file and open up visual studio input.getkey is not being recognised nor is anything else that I have tried. Is there something I am missing?

Try uninstalling the new input system package from the Package Manager.
Maybe that will help

thank you for your answer KarMa_PlaYzz but I think that the problem lies in the fact that c# is somehow not accessing unityengine even though I have Using UnityEngine; written at the beginning of my code (as per default) I seemingly cannot use any unity specialised key words or at least the itelisense does not recognise them. Do you have any idea how this could be?
it's all sorted now thank you small error with my visual studio, thanks for your time
