Precise method of setting UI anchor points to its own corners
Dragging the little white anchor points and "eyeballing" the rectransforms own corners is both tedious and inaccurate. I haven't used unity in quite some time and I'm not sure if a solution has been added in newer versions that simplify this.
I suppose I could use this solution, but I was wondering if something more elegant has been added to unity by default.

I don't think there is.....and personally i don't $$anonymous$$d...the solution you linked works fine i assume
