Animations don't play when has exit time is unchecked
I'm trying to transition from player idle to running and then running to idle based on input axis magnitude (XZ). The transitions are working but the animations don't play in Unity 2019.4.26f1.
I'm using the following settings
When I check the has exit time and set the exit time value to 0, the transition doesn't happen instantly but it first completes it's cycle and then transitions from idle to running and vice versa.
I want these transitions to happen instantly without any delay.
I have the same problem, what I did to solve it is not use the "Any State", I hope I can help you
