OBB file not being loaded
Steps that I did:
Use Split Application Binary to generate the .apk and .OBB file.
Install the .apk but don't open it
Place the .OBB inside Android/obb/com.company-name.name (I just followed the name of the folder that was made when I run the app without the obb folder)
Run the app
However, the app did not load past the first scene. I tried running the game with and without the .OBB and both leads to the same scenery which makes me assume that the .OBB file is not being loaded.
I tried adding <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" />
to the AndroidManifest.xml but then it doesn't pop up when I run the game and instead, I have to go to the app settings and allow this permission. But even then, the .OBB file is still not being loaded.
The app also uses google carboard so there is also a AndroidManifest-Cardboard.xml. Not sure if I should touch that though.
