setting up OVR plugin for 3rd person movement

Im trying to get the oculus touch controllers to work with 3rd person movement, like the game luckys tale. But I cant find any resources for it other then setting up the camera. It seems to be a problem for some, does anyone have any resources for this or could provide a little info to get me going in the right direction, ty
