Rotation resets on play mode
Hey there,
I'm having a very infuriating problem. I have a object that I want oriented a certain way. 270 270, 0 (x, y, and z). I have the prefab and the instance in the scene oriented the way I want. Everything looks good. But as soon as I hit play, the rotation in the instance reverts to 0, 0, 0. Inexplicably. The prefab is fine, it doesnt change. I can pause the play mode and adjust the rotation in scene view, but as soon as I unpause it, the rotation resets again. Does anyone have any suggestions?

are you sure there isnt a script manipulating the rotation?
You're a genius. Took the part of the script away and it works. Now I have to figure out how to mess with rotation without screwing it up this time. Thanks. Post an answer and I'll accept it
