Console Warning: 'No script asset for GameObjectSelectionItem. Check that the definition is in a file of the same name'
Just started getting this error after the 2018.1.0f2 update 'No script asset for GameObjectSelectionItem. Check that the definition is in a file of the same name'. It only happens when clicking on GameObjects in the Scene Hierarchy while the Animation window is active and in focus in the Editor. If I hide the Animation window (for example, behind my Console) the warning doesn't come up.
It would seem it is having trouble finding the GameObjectSelectionItem. I'm thinking that maybe they changed this either into or from being a ScriptableObject due to the nature of the error message.
I was working on changing pre-existing animations in my last session prior to when I started noticing this error, so there could definitely be broken animations still in one of my controllers, or my timing is just coincidence. Any guidance would be appreciated

It turned out to be related to the animations on my Menu UI Object. I remade those animations and haven't been getting the error anymore. Hope that helps @djordr
Oh yes the script can't find the black fade in effect because I had it disabled. Just have to enable it while test playing the scene. Thanks.

Hey I'm having the same problem after updating, did you resolve it?
