Is there a way to disable Unity changing the texture scaling when using multiple materials
Hi guys,
So there isn't a good way of phrasing my question but what I'm trying to do is allow the user the decide what materials are applied to an object which accepts different materials for different parts of the object. That part is easy but the hard part comes in when I want to scale the textures on the object. If the user applies the same material to two different areas on the object and I try and scale the texture at one of the areas, Unity automatically scales the area at the other area as well.
I know using multiple materials on an object is generally not a good idea but in my case I believe that it is better for my application except when trying to scale the textures.
So is there a way to disable or get around this feature? I've been struggling with this for a few hours now and I can't seem to solve it.
Thanks
