How do I add a plain color to terrain without using textures?
Every example out there is too fancy for what I'm trying to create. All I want to add is some color to the terrain so that it's not gray, white or checkered.
I want it to look like this, where this "terrain" is actually a plane with some material set.

The reason I want to use terrain instead of a plane is because I want to be able to add hills, bumps and maybe, trees later on. A plane for this particular level is fine but I want to also be able to use terrain.
