Make Repetitive texture tileing become larger when far away.
I have a repetitive texture that is all around my landscape. I have lots of grassy hills. The texture looks good far away on the hills when it is 40 x 40 but looks like crap up close. It looks good at default 15 x 15 up close. Is there a way to have the texture somehow fade from 40 to 15 when I get close and vice versa? Thanks for any help.
You don't define the type of object you are using to display your texture nor how you tile it. A possible solution for some implementations is to do the tiling by using a single cell and using $$anonymous$$aterial.mainTextureScale and a texture with wrap mode of repeat. Then you just have to change the mainTextureScale based on the distance.
