Scenes overlap when using LoadLevel
So I am trying to create a menu, and I have an options menu in a different scene. Here is a basic layout.
Menu 1
Play -> loads game scene
Options -> loads options scene
Exit -> quits application
When I click the options button on the main menu, it is supposed to take me to the options menu, it does that, but it also brings ALL the elements of the main menu into the new scene and vice versa. It's not my first time making a main menu, but this has been giving me trouble. Any suggestions?
I am just using Application.LoadLevel() in the button OnClick() events. I do not use DontDestroyOnLoad() so It's not that.
"it also brings ALL the elements of the main menu into the new scene and vice versa" - could you be more clear? You mean the "Play - Options - Exit" are also appearing in the "Options" menu? (you expect them to be destroyed but they're not)
