How To Save a gameobject and its children to file?
I am making a game where you can build and save your creations. When you build the first block you place if not touching another block will create a parent and become a child of that parent. If you place a block on another block it will become the parent of that block. Hierarchy
parent(object to save)
--Cube
--Cube
--Window
--Door
so how do I save that grid object and all its children to file? then how would I load it again?
Note:I have set up a simple system to save floats strings and ints to file by simply making a .txt file and then writing my data to it without any serialization so the .txt file looks like
123.123
a string
123
I have also done the same thing with PlayerPref.
