Wheel Collider Friction problems
So I'm new to the wheel collider. I managed to set up a car, with gear shifting and all that, however I cannot for the life of me manage to figure out how to set up the friction.
Some online tutorials suggested that I should leave the friction settings as they are originally and alter only the stiffness i.e. until I get used to the wheel collider.
I followed this advice however I cannot get anywhere near close to having decent car movement. The worst problem is that the car doesn't move in a straight line and all the 4 colliders have the same values.
Another problem is that the car starts to bounce with stiffness factors close to 1 which is solved with smaller stiffness factors however then the car is too "heavy" to move and the amount of torque needed to move the car has to be increased to 2000 Nm which is not realistic (Ideally it's in the range of 400 - 600)
Can any one give some insight please? thanks in advance

download unity car tutorial from unity assets store or website this is the best way to understand everything related racing game. :)
i hope this is helpful
hmm... yep I gave it a shot although most settings were similar to $$anonymous$$e. I found out that the car was scaled.
