getting an object to move only along x-axis and y-axis
I am very new to unity and i have very, very limited knowledge of scripting. I am trying to make an object (something like a cube) move from one platform to another platform in the Z direction when i press the left arrow key and then the same for the X direction when i press the right arrow key. the distance between the the platforms is 1x1x1 and they are directly next to each other so the distance that the object has to move is not very far.
