When Will Unity Update Their Tutorials
I Have Been Extremely Angry With The Way How Unity Changes Stuff About The Way You Code It Gets More Frustrating When The Tutorials Most Of The Tutorials Are Based In Unity 4 Witch Released in 2012 it's 2018! Why Doesn't unity Update Them
Ok, first: wrong kind of "which." Second, why does everyone constantly capitalize every word in their sentences. That happens so often now. Third, lol sorry for trying to sound all smart I was joking, here's my answer:
So uh... This question doesn't really belong here since it doesn't ask for help with anything but rather just complains to the developers of the game engine. Not really considered on topic with... well... the whole site. At least use fourms.unity.com instead, that's a tiny bit more for this.
But if I were to really answer your question..... they probably don't care enough about the tutorials being conveniently updated with newer versions of C# since all that stuff is in their manual, and even better: Assuming you already at least somewhat understand basic programming, you should be able to use the Unity Scripting API Reference. It'll take some more time but it gives way more info from what I've seen anyway. I find it useful sometimes.
If you're still new to REAL coding then maybe try looking up tutorials for some easier languages like JavaScript or BASIC, or if you want to just take time to study C#. It's not so hard once you get used to it. Just... don't use UnityScript. It's awful.
Javascript is not easier than C# lol. html, css, C# and Java are probably the easiest languages out there.

A day in the life of me:
Try JavaScript as a primary program$$anonymous$$g language for a couple years like me and chances are you'll see what I mean.
It especially feels easier when you do it in a webpage, and like you even said, HT$$anonymous$$L and CSS are the easiest document languages out there. And I understand JS can get easier/harder depending on what context you are using it in (Game Engine, Website, simple desktop script, etc.) but the thing is I started with JavaScript, and I've gotten so used to it that even C# is an easier option than Java. (never thought I'd say that although C# is pretty easy)
Not that we should really be debating over it but to be fair I mean the original topic post didn't 100% belong here anyway so why bother.
I Do Have a Basic Understanding of "Real Code" I Have Coded In Lua And JavaScript And Have Some Experience With C# I'm Just Trying To Expand My Knowledge.
