Everything is appearing behind camera background
I'm new to unity and game design in general. I searched, but couldn't find an answer to my problem. I'm making a top down RPG, and my player object prefab appears in front of everything, but everything else appears behind the camera background in runtime. I have tried messing around with layers and z pos, but nothing seems to work. The only thing I've gotten to show up is a panel. Even then, the player object appears above that, no matter the value in the alpha channel. If anyone can help me with my problem, that'd be amazing! Thanks in advance.
