Best solution for an interactive movie (Canvas/3D Plane/...)
Hi ! I'm fairly new to Unity so sorry if my question seems really obvious. For an interactive movie project on the Alzheimer disease, I'll be working with Unity to handle the different interactions that our film will feature. These actions will mostly be inviting the user to click on certain areas of the video to start another clip and such.
I've been doing research and although not a lot of information is available on interactive videos, I've seen either people recommending to render the video on a RenderTexture and then on a Plane or people saying the best way is to directly render the video on the Canvas via a Raw Image.
I've tried these 2 methods myself and can display the video without any problem but being a novice I'm not sure what solution would be the best fit for my project ! I'd really appreciate if you could help me with this matter and additionnally, if you could tell me more about the way to change clips when interacting with the video. Thanks in advance !
