Moved The Router/upgraded internet service: Networking fails?
I have not changed any code since it was working correctly, so I am fairly confident it is not code related, but something more related to a firewall? I share my neighbors wifi, and they upgraded their service and relocated their router for better connection (for me). Is there any reason this could be affecting Unity's connection, when other programs do not have issues?
No errors when initializing servers. Client returns "array index is out of range" on line 18
ClientScript:
12 function Start () {
13
14 MasterServer.RequestHostList("1999 1999");
15 yield WaitForSeconds(2);
16 var ServerInfo : HostData[];
17 ServerInfo = MasterServer.PollHostList();
18 Network.Connect(ServerInfo[0]);
19
20 }
ServerScript
function Start() {
Network.InitializeServer(5,25149, !Network.HavePublicAddress());
MasterServer.RegisterHost( "1999 1999","GameType","GameName" );
}
I dont believe any other parts of the script would be necessary, but there is a lot more to each after these parts.
Any idea why this might have failed without changing ANYTHING on the script?
The master server is done asyncronous, you can't expect a server to be returned immediately on request
