Importing to Unity
Hello,
Does anyone know why when i import a package into Unity it takes so long?, It's the Newest version of Unity and it says unpacking or something and just stays for ages, i've tried redownloading Unity and packages.
Thanks.
if ur package has corrupt mesh or other assets it may happen sometimes!! is the package created by u?
There is a lot of processing involved and it can take a long time. (As long as hours for a typical real-life game.) You'd have to say exactly what you mean by "a long time" and describe the models you are importing. It's one reason you need as new a machine as possible with a lot of ram for 3D!

Nothing is more annoying than finding someone with the same issue and having them just say its been solved. Please include how it was resolved in the answer.
