Adding assembly reference in visual studio causes error in unity

I added a reference in visual studio to the System.Web.Extensions assembly. When I head back to unity I get an error saying "The type or namespace name 'Script' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Web' (are you missing an assembly reference?)." How can I get the reference working for unity?
