ctrl+shift+c what does this key combination do? my console was not printing any thing , i was suggested to use this key combination and it started working, I am now too curious to know what this combination did.

simply opens the console window, all unity editor are windows, if you want to open the console windows you would go
Window<General<Console
or simply that command
all hotkeys

Apparently it just opens a console if you follow:
Window->General
