How to set the Animator Controller in script.
I'm trying to figure out a way to pass my character's class name as a parameter and have my animation change based on that. I managed to get the animation to change using an Animator Override Controller, however, I'm trying to create a menu where you can select a character. From the menu, the character name will be passed and somehow accepted in the Animator Controller to gain the corresponding Animator Override Controller.
Please help. (I am pretty new to Unity, any simple steps would be greatly appreciated)

You can tell animation script to change animation clips.
or more simply just parameter based on your type of character
