basic cylinder with capsule collider
I just imported a maya file with a standard cylinder. I gave it a RigidBody and Capsule Collider.. set it just above the terrain. When the cylinder "collides" with the terrain, it falls over like a drunk cylinder and then rolls down the terrain. How can I keep this thing standing up? (it's supposed to represent my player).

Use "No Rotation" on the rigidbody component :)

I've been searching but can't seem how to set this. I'm guessing it's done via script. Will this prevent the object from rotating at all, because I need it to rotate on the z axis, not the other two.
$$anonymous$$ake a script that always set the rotation on x and z axis to 0 (or another value)
