Unity 4.2 which variant to choose for publishing game to app store?

hi,

I have just now finished my game on Unity4.2 and now want to publish it on various mobile app stores like Google Play! etc.

But after reading the blog and the EULA. Its confusing about which variant I should choose to build, which would allow me to publish the apps to the app stores.

  • Free: It doesn't shows my splash. I'm Ok with it. As long as I can publish.

  • Pro Trial - Just shows a tiny "trial version" at the bottom of the screen. Gets my splash. So, would be happy if I can use it to publish.Since, I have downloaded Unity recently, so have days to go before my Pro Trial expires.

  • Pro - Can't afford it :)

  • Blog link: http://blogs.unity3d.com/2013/07/22/unity-4-2-has-arrived/

  • EULA: http://unity3d.com/company/legal/eula

P.S:Being an independent developer. So, parts of licensing for company's or with turn over of 100,000$ doesn't apply.

According to EULA you can't publish or distribute content created using Pro Trial.

  1. c) [...] If you are using a trial version of the Software, you may not publish or distribute any Licensee Content.

So it leaves you with Free option.
