Does Unity work with 64-bit Windows 7?
Answer by Jen Grier · Mar 13, 2010 at 08:59 PM
I'm not sure if this is what the OP meant: Unfortunately, I've just done the install of the Unity Editor on Windows 7 64-bit and can't get it to open. I've tried running it "as an Administrator" and in multiple compatibility modes, including XP and Vista options. No dice! I'm going to post my issue/stats in a new thread.

I have the same problem, running the editor makes it fail silently.
$$anonymous$$ake a DEP exception! That was the solution for me.
