How do I fix layer issues with 2D Tile maps?
So for the 2D Game I'm creating, I'm using Tiled to make the maps and then exporting it to Unity with Tiled2Unity. When I would import a map into my hierarchy it would be on the bottom layer so the player would move along on top of it. But recently when I import a map it ignores layers and always appears on the topmost layer, so my player is always below it no matter what layer its set to. So if anyone has a solution to this then thank you very much.

Check the component Tiled2Unity adds to prefabs which controls the sorting layer. Check the player object's sorting layer. Check the z position of both.
