sound (audio) makes noise only in timeline
I have a background music which has no noise in original file. When I play the music just using AudioSource (which means 'not in timeline'), it doesn't make any noise. But when I play the music on timeline (using Audio Track), it makes noise a lot. I have muted all the other tracks but it still makes noise.
When I say 'noise', I mean some sounds like short cracked sound.
(I have tested it on Unity 2017 and 2018)

Same problem here. Unity 2018.2.5f1 (Win) A sound played in the timeline had stutters. Moved it out the timeline just to test it and the problem was gone.

I would suggest to file a bug. It doesn't sound familiar and we would be interested in looking at a repro case.
