2D Z-Levels HELP Needed! Can I script multiple objects to run on z levels,,2d Multiple Z levels in one scene
Hi there, Im not great with wording my thoughts so please look at my example :))
Im currently making a 2D top down Naval game, where the majority of the game will take place on a ship, id like to build different decks to the ship that hosted different rooms and utilities , ie gundecks and sleeping quarters. so my question is
Q. How do i make the camera and objects change z level whilst the current z level remains active? can this be done?
Example - multiple sailors could be on the top deck carrying out day routines whilst the night watch are actively eating below deck or sleeping.
If boarding a ship sailors could fight on multiple floors in realtime
i would like to implement a floor toggle to view the different decks, or to make certain floors become transparent as to view the room below..
Im really keen to keep this idea alive and im thoroughly enjoying learning new things everyday, if anyone can help me with this please do in any effort! ,
