Anyone else having issues with how your game is displayed when using Chromecast?
Hello. I'm on Android and casting my game onto a 1080p monitor via Google Chromecast. My game is set to run in fullscreen mode, and I'm expecting that when I cast onto my monitor that it would display in fullscreen. Instead, what I am seeing is the game displayed with black bars on the top, bottom, and left.
I thought it might have been something in my game causing the issue, so I made an empty Unity project and casted that. The issue still presented itself which makes me think it is something in my Unity or Android settings. Is there a particular option in Unity or on my Android device that I need to set in order to cast the game without the black bars? Has anyone else run into this issue before?
Your assistance is appreciated.

Looks like the extra black bar that I am seeing on the left side of the screen occurs on 3XL phones equipped with the notch. Fortunately, you can disable how the notch is presented in the display with the following:
Turn on developer options
Go to Settings
Select About
Select Developer Options
Under the Drawing section, select Display cutout
Select the Hide option
The black bar on the left in landscape mode should now be removed.
Hope this was helpful to someone.
@hebbym are you using the Remote Display Plugin to do this? I haven't had any luck getting it to work, it connects but doesn't send anything.
