Chromecast plugin for Unity

So i am using this plugin from google that let's you cast you're unity game to you're chromecast device, but i can't seem to get it to work, sometimes the cast button doesn't work, when it does work he can't find the chromecast meanwhile the YouTube app for example can find the chromecast, so does anyone have an alternative or any idea how to fix this?
