Stop rendering a part of a skinned mesh
I've been goofing around with final IK's VR functionality, with the hopes I may integrate it into my VR project, but one problem I am having is that, even when placed optimally, the camera sometimes (at certain rotations) clips into the head portion of my characters skinned mesh. I considered just deleting the head from the mesh, but realized quickly that this resulted in a headless shadow being cast which I would like to avoid. My ideal solution would result in the camera being unable to see the head portion of the skinned mesh, while still having it cast its shadow. any suggestions would be appreciated.

The character is split in parts? I mean, maybe you have "cast shadows" option in mesh renderer and you can disable it.
