Mesh based Particle System LOD?
Hi!
Is it possible to create a LOD System at particle level for a Mesh based Particle System?
I can only set a global mesh in the Renderer tab of the particle system:
What I would need is something like the LOD Group component, but for each particle:
I'm working on a 3D endless runner and for my 3D coins I decided to use a particle system. I populate the scene with empty transforms that are used as anchors for particles that I set at runtime using ParticleSystem.SetParticles method.
The thing is I replaced my old system in which I was populating the scene with actual MeshRenderers using a prefab. Here I created 3 models for my coin that were added in a LOD Group.
