How to play two animations in the same game object?
Hia, my question is less how (although that would be helpful), and more of a is it possible. Basically, I have my character running and playing the running animation, while he is running he has to swing his arm. I was mainly wondering if there was a way to just play the running animation and play the swing animation. sorry for taking you time if this is impossible.
If this question is to vague I can describe it better.
I should probably mention I am using blender.

Hi @programer717 , it believe is possible. I think blending trees might be what you're looking for. Also check this thread it might help you: https://answers.unity.com/questions/741357/play-two-animation-simultaneously-using-animator.html they talk about layering for playing two animations simultaneously
Well, this did help a little. but I don't think it is what I am looking for. I was asking if there was a way to isolate any movements the arm is making while running stopping them and playing the movement of the arm swing. the layering does help, but really it just dampens the movements of all the animations, not just stopping the arm. thanks. (Blend trees wouldn't work, they just mix the two animations and thus you would have an effect much like the layering, he moves a bit like he is running, and a bit like he is swinging).
