Setting Vsync to "Every V Blank" actually got rid of VSync
I'm testing my game for Android. I've noticed that when I'm profiling my game, there is a lot of Vsync (despite setting Vsync to 'Don't sync' in Quality settings).
However, setting VSync to 'Every V Blank' actually caused all this VSync to go away. And on top of that, it looks like the performance has also improved. I'm not seeing as much stutter as I did with Vsync set to 'Don't sync'....
Here's what the profiler shows with Vsync set to 'Don't sync'. As you can see, there's Vsync everywhere.
And here's what the profiler shows with Vsync set to 'Every V Blank'. As you can see, the Vsync is completely gone.
So is this normal? Is the Vsync really gone or is there something I'm misinterpreting?
