Help with Vive, UI, and Arduino
Does anyone have experience using Arduino and the Vive? I am using unity with an Uno and the Vive and have run the examples to run a servo via a button fine as well as my own code. The problem happens when I create a cylinder or event use a throwable ball prefab and try to add the triggering of this Servo on the Arduino to the list. This all works when I have the test UI button on screen but doesn't work as an interactiable object. I have an empty gameobject with the servo script then I Have the interactable object script on my Cylinder. I select the empty gameobject on the events list on lets say- on hover or on pick up. I play this and pick up the object and my servo is not triggered. I'm going a little nuts with it not working, can someone help?
