How do I add the animation to my player in Unity 4?
I'm sort of a noob with Unity 4 and i'm confused. I've made a character that can be controlled (walking, attacking ect.) and the animations that need to go onto him but when I add them, it asks me to make a controller. What do I do with it? Sorry for the noob question but i'm not the brightest with this program.

In Unity 4 there's a system called Mecanim for handling animations on characters. Check this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xx21y9eJq1U
