Unity editor keeps crashing
After a day working with Unity it always becomes very unstable. Step debugging especially kills Unity's stability in all IDE's available. I have tried Rider, Visual Studio, and MonoDevelop. The outcome is the same; at a certain moment, breakpoints stop connecting, Unity hangs without a crash report given. Leaving me in the blank for what's wrong. I work on a 16G i7 mac - have had other machines before this one and have been working with Unity for a couple of years. It has always been the same.
This is a vague report because Unity does not give me any more information - it just hangs, the old beachball of death. I have filled in reports 2 years ago about this problem but it has always remained. Nowadays we pay big money to Unity for multiple seats - and I hoped to get some access to better support to help me with this problem. That's sadly not the case though.
I hope somebody can help me with this, but to be fair; looking at all the other similar reports going unanswered, I have little hope. Again, this makes me sad. Apart from the crashing on Mac (my home Windows machine running Unity almost never crashes or hangs), I like working with Unity - and love what you people are doing. I think though that a little bit of extra support for paying customers would go a long way. And yes, I know about the paid support. I had hoped after paying for something that's free for a lot of people it would at least come with extra support.

Hi, @unity_squla!
Perhaps your problem is in the settings of the system mac, or in the version of the operating system. Try to update your mac to the latest version

Thanks for your help. I don't think it's in my version of operating system, because it happened often throughout 2/3 years and I have switched machines and updated versions a couple of times. It could be the settings on my mac, but I haven't done anything exotic that I can think of.
I feel it could either be in the setup of our project, or it's an editor bug. It happens whenever I want to step debug, and usually around the end of a day working with Unity.
