Unity 4.6 Crashes When Opening Packages
When I create a new project, I can download the packages from the selection. Then, if I attempt to open another package, when not creating a new project, it crashes. Also, whenever I attempt to create a UI in my scene, it crashes. In the Editor.log, I am getting a null exception. I am using Unity 4.6.2 (it also crashed before updating it from 4.6.1. I am using OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. It still crashed before I updated from Mountain Lion to Yosemite. I have also tried reinstalling the software, and it isn't helping. I have submitted a bug report, but nobody has gotten back to me yet and I need some help soon. If you have anymore questions about what is going on, just let me know.
To the best of my knowledge, this is where it is throwing the null exception. all I did was open a new project and went into Assets -> Import Package -> Character Controller. Then it crashed and launched bug reporter. I also checked my hard disk space and current memory usage, and it isn't maxing out my memory usage.
