HID Device Enumeration
I'm trying to connect Unity to an HID device that I would ideally need to scan for at runtime. I have the VID and PID of the device, and from how I understand it I can read and write to it via FileStream. However, I need to get the path of the device in order to be able to write to it. To do this, I assume I need to get the list of all items connected to the machine that have the same VID and PID, and to that end I've been looking at hidapi (http://www.signal11.us/oss/hidapi/) toward that end. However, the API given by this which I'd try to set up a plugin with, returns pointers to structs and I'm unsure of how to convert that/make that work in Unity, since Unity doesn't seem to allow for pointers.
Does anyone know of a way to enumerate HID devices in Unity? If I can do it without using a plugin, that would be fantastic.
