Sprite sharpness / fuzziness depending on zoom level
Hello, I tried to find some info on this issue but without success - this is perhaps due to the fact that I am approaching this completely the wrong way.
Anyway: I'm using some Sprite Renderer to show 2D characters in a 3D top down environment and an orthographic camera. Problem is that when I zoom out the sprite becomes fuzzy / not sharp enough as I guess it is trying to display too many pixel (from the sprite resolution) in a too small part of the screen. I kind of solved this issue by having 3 versions of each sprite (compressed to 264 px, 64 px, 32 px) and changing my sprite in function of the orthographic camera size... It works - but I would like to hear if there is one or more better ways to do this as it will be obviously cumbersome to administrate as I will have many sprites and this may also need to be set-up differently in function of the screen resolution...
I am open to other suggestion - using texture rather than sprite, etc... just would like to have a character which looks clean not only when zoom in but also when zoomed out.... (FYI I tried with texture prior to sprite but encounter the same issue - resolution needs to be adapted to zoom level it seems...)
Thanks a lot in advance, Cheers,
