2.5D movement boundaries?
Current work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RbvPt7vEnI&feature=youtu.be
I am trying to make a 2.5D platformer (in a 2D space), but I really don't know how to go about creating an abstract-shaped boundary that will keep the character on a platform. I made a polygonal hitbox to illustrate the kind of boundary shape I'd like to be able to make.
Back in my flash days, I'd just create a vector graphic, attach sensors to the bottom of the player, then check whether or not a sensor was hitting the graphic and push it back like so, but I'm not sure how to do even that in Unity.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you
