I got the same issue too, did you update to UNITY 2018.2.1?
Okay, yeah $$anonymous$$e was working too, I just tried it with the 2018.1 version and still didn't work :( wish it would be fixed today as I cant do anything now without it
FIXED ! Under the player settings find Scripting Define Symbols and replace with CROSS_PLATFOR$$anonymous$$_INPUT
yes it works for me now, i had to restart unity and then enter CROSS_PLATFOR$$anonymous$$_INPUT as it was set to mobile input in order for it to work.

Wow took days to find this and it completely fixed the problem. Been going through cross platform for days trying to turn off mobile. This needs to be bumped up and linked to crossplatforminputmanager info. Thanks so much
