Image manipulation application

Hi all, I am new to Unity but I have a lot of experience with business applications.

I have a request for an app and I would like to know if Unity is suitable for implementing the solution and which way should I start implementing it.

Basic requirements:

  1. We have a template graphic (example: t-shirt png image)

  2. We want to fill this graphic with other graphics (background, foreground, text etc)

  3. We want to apply an effect to whole graphic (for example vintage, mirror, black&white etc)

  4. We want to export final graphic as png, for being able to print it

I made some research and I have a basic question: Should I use sprites, or a canvas with an image? Which one is more suitable for my scenario?

For no 2, as I understand, I have to use the template graphic as a mask and add new child graphics inside it for cropping graphics outside template graphic.

For no. 3, should I use sprite with a shader? Image with an effect? I don't know much here. Is there any built in library inside Unity with such effects?

For no 4, can I export the final in full quality (ideally the same as the template graphic)

Is there anything I should keep in mind, when implementing this solution with Unity? Thank you in advance.
