Slow game in another system
Hey all,
I created a game in Unity from my laptop. Now I wanted to shift that game to another computer. But it seems that the game performance is very slow. The objects move very slowly as compared to it's movement in my laptop where I developed the game.
Initially I thought that it may be due to Low RAM ( In my laptop it was 8GB and in the computer it was 4GB). So I upgraded my RAM to 8GB. But it still shows no improvement. Later I checked if the RESOLUTION maters or not. For my laptop the Resolution is (1920*1080*50Hz) but for the computer the **Resolution is (1920 1080*1 Hz)*.
Is this low resolution /refresh rate causing the problem ? If it is causing problems, is it possible to change this refresh rate ? Would anyone please suggest some solutions ?
Thanks
does this apply for other games compared on both machines too?
what does the unity profiler say about the performance
How are you moving your objects? Are you using Time.deltaTime? This can sometimes be the source of the issue as different devices will run at varying FPSs. Using Time.deltaTime means that it will work at the same speed on different devices.
Yes i am moving the objects but i used only the transform property for that scene. I ran this program in 3 other laptops including $$anonymous$$e, it works perfectly in the other laptops. But i do not understand why does it work so slow in my PC. Any suggestions ?

@cap_L - What exactly is monitor refresh rate? The refresh rate of your monitor refers to how many times per second the screen refreshes the image on it. It's measured in hertz (Hz), and the higher the number the more times per second your monitor refreshes.Mar 1, 2017
If your monitor refresh rate is seriously 1Hz? you have issues.. thats 1 update a second roughly.. that is your problem, gotta be a driver or hardware issue there.. I would start with updating drivers, or delete and reinstall the video card drivers first.
