Missing GIT notes / annotations in Visual Studio Community
Hi, I used to use Visual Studio premium (I have MSDN) but I started to use community edition after I upgraded to win 10 just because its smaller and suits my needs for Unity.
However, I used to get GIT annotations in VS premium, but I dont get them in community.
Now it may well be that a while back I actually set them up somehow, but I have tried every option I can find in community, but no show. I am sure I am doing something dumb here, so can someone tell me how to get the notes from git to show up in the code view when editing files in VS? I used to be able to see when a line of code was last modified and by who...
cheers,
J
Sorry, I meant, I could see the notes inline in the code editor, rather than having to go and manually view previous commits
I also note that there are options for annotation, but these reference TFS, where I know this worked in premium. $$anonymous$$aybe I have no choice but to remove community and go back to premium?
