How does Visual Studio recognize Unity Classes and Namespaces?
My first intuition was that Visual Studio recognizes certain classes and namespaces based on the files in the Solution Explorer, yet I can type a class or namespace in the C# file and Intellisense will recognize it whether or not it's in the solution explorer, and fails to recognize some other class / namespace that is in the solution explorer.
(hope this isn't too off topic)
I've been trying to 'Attach to Unity' yet Visual Studio will report about 4,000 errors, at least some complaining about these classes / namespaces, saying "The type or namespace name '[insert type / namespace here]' (I'll abreviate 'type / namespace' to 't/n') does not exist in the namespace '[namespace]' (are you missing an assembly reference?)". e.g. the t/n 'RemoteTestResultDataWIthTestData' is in the solution explorer under 'UnityEditor.TestRunner', yet it's not recognized when attaching to unity.
If more info is required, let me know. =) If someone can answer the questions to both of the above paragraphs, it'd be much appreciated. =)
