Attaching animated GIF to forum question?
Hi,
I'm trying to add animated GIFs to my forum question, but keep getting this error:
But when I try to upload actually invalid file (i.e. MP4) I get this tip:
Your image must be one of: gif, png, jpg, jpeg
So is it a case that animated GIF's are not accepted?
Thanks, PJ

Right, I found a way to do this by not uploading or linking to the image via the <img>
widget in the toolbar above, but by using markdown ![Alt text](/path/to/img.jpg)
Now the animated gifs are embedded into and play back in the post correctly.

you should know that many social sharing sites do not support animated GIFs, so I think convert gif to video is better, as one thing, it is easy for sharing on site, on another, it can keep the dynamic picture, you can search ezgif, wonderfox, etc sites for help.
