Animation, move a object from random to fixed position

I am currently making weapons animations for a game and now want to add that the swords collide with the wall and then return to the default position. The problem is i couldn't figure out how to play an animation from the random position the object is currently in to the default holding position. Thanks for all the answers in advance.,I made a few sword swing animations for my game and now want to implement the sword breaking this animation, if it hits a wall (collider) and return into the default position.

So my problem is returning the sword from this random position to the default position.

If you have a solution please make it understandible^^ thanks in advance.
